It depends on your age, and the amount of exertion.

You can exercise at 100% for 3-5 minutes and your heart rate can be above 200 if you are in your teens or closer to 150 if you are in your 60%26#039;s.

You can exercise at 80% for 10 minutes and your heart rate can be 180 if you are in your teens, or 130 if you are in your 60%26#039;s.

Hi, It depends on your weight, your age and gender.

If you want to do Cardio it is 144 if you are 40 like myself...

fat burner is 114...If my hubby does cardio his heart rate is 166 while mine is 25 beats less running at the same speed. he has 60 more pounds than I have.

Go on line and ask a fitness instructor that%26#039;s your best bet.

depends on your base heart rate. a 10-20% of your base rate should be sufficient. but who only works out for five or ten minutes? Should be twenty-forty minutes. A base rate of 80 beats/minute can increase to 130/140 in hard work out.
