The easiest way is to find your pulse and count for 15 seconds and then multiply by four. You can count for a whole minute if you like but that gets boring and doesn%26#039;t really add any accuracy.

The two easiest places to find a pulse is in your ulnar artery and your carotid artery. The ulnar artery can be found just below the palm of your hand on the thumb side. Use your second and/or third fingers to squeeze the artery against the bone and you will feel a pulse.

I find its easiest to put my hand under the wrist and reach around with my fingers. You can also find a pulse quite easily in your neck (carotid artery).
